| ROGER RUNNINGEN (POLSCI-1972) covers the White House for Bloomsberg News. He was given the White House assignment after 10 years with the financial news service. Earlier he was news secretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Before that he covered Washington for the Rochester, Minn., Post-Bulletin and other Small Group newspapers. He began his journalism career at the Wabasha, Minn., County Herald, then joined Congressman Al Quie as news secretary. At Winona State, he was editor of the Winonan and brought out an extra edition that covered an anti-war march on City Hall. Updated July 2006 |
